  • As a seasoned yogi with over 20 years of practice and RYT 200 certification, I'm so excited and honored to share this time with you and follow my passion of guiding others on their own personal yoga and mindfulness journeys. With over 15 years experience in orthopedic healthcare and several years experience as a personal trainer, I bring a unique blend of knowledge, compassion, and overall insight to health and wellness which serve as my foundation to guide and hold space for your growth to begin or deepen. 

    My love for and experience with yoga, especially Vinyasa and Yin yoga, has led me to share my practice with students curious and eager to learn and grow. Yoga and meditation have helped me through some of the most challenging times in my life. I believe, and have experienced, yoga and meditation as powerful tools for cultivating mindfulness, connecting with your body and mind, and finding inner peace. It’s a journey to the self through the self. And we’re truly all better humans when we use these tools as part of a regular routine!

As a wife, mother of two, caregiver, friend, coworker, etc, I’ve worn all the hats you may have worn. I’ve been in a supporting role almost my whole adult life, on any given day, often without warning. I understand the importance of balance and self-care, ‘no’ as a complete sentence, and how we can easily lose ourselves as we continue to be there for others, especially when days get hectic and outcomes are uncertain. I'm committed to sharing transformative and empowering mindfulness tools you can use in your everyday life in a warm, welcoming, and encouraging atmosphere. You can take the time YOU DESERVE to truly relax, rejuvenate, and find yourself again. Quite literally, Sea Yourself to wellness during this amazing week of asanas, pranayama and stillness of the mind, body and soul. I can’t wait to share this week with you!

  • My yoga journey started as a way to reduce stress.  It grew into love, lifestyle and liberation.  The power and peacefulness of Yoga practice slowly opened to a Yoga teaching career that has spanned 25 years and counting!

    I practice, study and teach various types of yoga:  Bikram, Baptiste-inspired power yoga, Anusara, Sivananda, Ashtanga and Life Power.  Some of these practices are vigorous, some are relaxing.  All of them are wonderful.

    In addition to leading inspired Yoga classes, I write books, poetry, lead Yoga retreats, workshops and facilitate Yoga teacher training programs.

    Yoga aside, I love to read, write, cook and travel.  Much of it is done with my husband, two kids and two cats outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

    I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Tracie to bring you this unique opportunity to explore the wonders of the Caribbean, Yoga, meditation and community together.
